A Musical Journey
Aedan Kehoe is a young composer and musician. He has performed solo piano pieces at the Royal Academy of Music and played percussion as part of the Brent Music Service Orchestra at The Grand Hall Wembley.


Composing and Performing
First Composition
Aedan wrote his first piece, Calm, when he was 8 years old.
Composition Studies
He completed the I Can Compose course, aimed at GCSE Music students, at 10 years of age.
Further Studies
His self-motivated drive and passion for music have only grown stronger. Aedan recently auditioned for the Cardinal Vaughan Centre for Young Musicians and was offered a place to study violin.

Experience
Aedan is keen to learn and experiment with different aspects of music.

Music Theory
He studies music theory in online group lessons.
Composition and Piano
Piano is the instrument he uses most to write and compose, linked with digital applications Sibelius and Dorico.
Percussion
Aedan has played percussion in the Brent Music Service Orchestra for 2 years.
Tin Whistle
Aedan has studied Irish tin whistle music and performed at school concerts.
Steelpan
Aedan enjoys participating in the steelpan lessons at school.
Church Band
Aedan plays piano in a church band while learning audio production skills.
